Hey everyone, we apologize for not being able to keep this updated as often as we intended. To all you faithful readers, we thank you. Your support means a lot to us. We must be doing something right after all.

It's pretty cool actually seeing that our youth are just as stoked as we are for our new website. We took the liberty of featuring the work of Camille from Bread of Life Paris inspired by the website. Good stuff, Camille. It encourages us to see these sort of things randomly. If we spot more of these, I think it's only right to start up a new part of the site. "Random Sightings" or "Super Cool Fan Made Art"...yeah...we'll work on that.

Remix in San Fransisco seemed pretty cool judging by the pictures. We hope to

SAN DIEGO REMIX/SOUL'D OUT SATURDAYS

Soul'd Out Saturdays in BOL Los Angeles have begun. We just wanted to clear up any confusion about Soul'd Out Summits and Soul'd Out Saturdays.

Soul'd Out Summits are specifically for our committed Soul'd Out Workers and we meet every 1st Saturday of the month.

Soul'd Out Saturday is pretty much for every BOL youth member wanting to hear a message made for our ears. We meet every 2nd and 3rd Saturday of the month. If you're wondering what happens on the 4th Saturday...that's when we have Remix and Image.

Raising Funds

Calling all youth in LA. We're fund raising again! Collect all your cans and bottles, bring your recyclables, and lets raise some money! We also have a change bottle in the youth room, so drop in some of that extra change you're carryin' in your back pocket or break that piggy bank and join us as we raise some money for future Remix and Image Nights and all that jazz. Keep posted for the next time we're recycling bottles.

A New Spin On Life

We've been doing REMIX for a little over a year now. We've had some really great hits, as well as some flops, but thankfully we've been able to keep 'em going every month.

Soul'd Out Youth from SF will be holding the first REMIX of the year, we hope anyone around the area will come through and find out about Planning Your Future. Invite your friends!

ITS A BRAND NEW YEAR!!!

First blog of the year! It's truly amazing looking back on 2008 and seeing how much God has moved in our youth group. Indeed, we ended it with a bang this year as all the Soul'd Out Workers from San Fransisco, San Diego, and Los Angeles gathered for a winter camp. We even had the privilege of having our European workers join us: Eric and Notes from Amsterdam, and Kevin from Paris!

Compared to last years' winter camp, the number of people that attended were doubled! It just shows how good a God we have! To see all of us renewing our relationships with God and with each other, as well as, renewing our commitments as Spartans and SOUL'D OUT workers. It has not been an easy road to follow, but by the grace of God we are all on the same page, fighting for the same cause.

We are all willing to continue on, taking the baton that has been passed down to us, carrying it, and passing it down to the generation after us. 2008 will soon be just a faint memory, but it will be a year we won't forget! As 2009 passes, we hope we can all journey together as a youth group! It will be hard, but we've got all we need to keep going! He's actually the ONLY thing we need!
