It was quite the adventure with Kuya Josh and James last Thursday afternoon, as we were picking up the first batch of youth from Europe. Before heading out to LAX, we stopped by Starbucks, where there was a short commotion at the cash register as James tried to pay for Coach Joshua's order. James got his order mixed up with another gentleman. Who knew there would be two James' at Starbucks, waiting for their drinks at the same time? As we patiently waited for their arrival, their imaginations flew like there was no tomorrow. One word says it all: TAKEN. (Watch the movie, if you haven't seen it already.) I, on the other hand, just found it heart warming to see families reunited at last. All the happy faces. Sons waiting for their mothers, parents waiting for their grown up children, it gets me every time. When the youth arrived, we headed straight to the center for their special dinner and night watch.
Happy faces with Starbucks in hand.

The look of Anticipation at its' best.

Our first look at the youth coming from the terminal.
